I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again: Curly hair doesn’t get as much love as it should in the fashion world, celebrity world or entertainment community. And that is exactly what makes Curlisto so special. Curlisto loves and embraces its curly girls and every time we launch a new product or enter a new season, we go into it with the intention of celebrating you, our curly haired clientele. That was exactly the thought we had during our Fall season photoshoot just yesterday.
Curlisto doesn’t employ supermodels. We use real, relatable women to star in all of our photoshoots, and while the girls are gorgeous, we always hope that our regular clients see themselves in the women we photograph. Yesterday’s shoot featured some familiar faces alongside a few new girls to showcase a variety of different hair textures, sizes and personalities. From kinky to wavy, our girls were photographed in studio as well as in the Meatpacking District of New York.
The theme of this shoot was Gangs of New York, styled by The Tailory, shot by Angelo Gaviras of @GavriasofficialPhotography. The theme is perfect as it celebrates the strong, diverse, beautiful women who Curlisto caters to.
