If you thought that all Christo was famous for was his expert knowledge of curls, all you needed to see were the opulent styles at Irina Vitjaz yesterday to know how wrong you were.
Vitjaz, an Austrian designer well known all over Europe, made her American debut yesterday at New York Fashion Week. And what a fabulous debut! The models glided, practically in slow motion, through the warehouse-like interior on Washington street. Flirty, 1950’s style separates paired with edgy, sheer blouses created a modern femininity for the line.
Of course what we really care about at Curlisto is the hair. The structured style featured two barrel curls on either side of the head with a single strip falling down the models’ backs. A complex look that could only be accomplished by a master.
Christo and his team used a mix of Curlisto Finishing Spray, Unruly Paste, Blow Me Clean Dry Shampoo, Curl Reform, Structura Spray and Glow & Shine to accomplish this coif.
