In Hairstyle Guide’s 2006 issue, Christo talked about why he wanted to specialize in curly hair above all else. “People with curly hair, they have more challenges”, says Christo. Since then, Christo has been dubbed the King of Curls by so many magazines that he should perhaps be given a crown, or a plaque at least. “It’s a scary thing when you’re working in Europe to come to New York but it’s the only way to expose yourself to more things in fashion.” The curly haired girls of New York are certainly grateful that he decided to stay.
