Nothing beats a summer night out in NYC on a roof top with cold, refreshing cocktails and a tad bit of pampering! Which means that our artistic team at Christo Fifth Avenue went straight to work, twirling their fingers all night long to create beautiful braids, curls, and up do’s to some lovely single women of NYC. Christo Fifth Avenue partnered with Three Day Rule, which is a unique stress-free dating app, for their Night of Beauty event. The night consisted of little booths that were occupied by hair, make up, skin, and nail touch ups as well as some jewelry and clothing shopping all on a scenic rooftop in Midtown Manhattan.
Our senior designers, Mariana and Ivan, were the only hair stylists at the event so you can only imagine how many ladies wanted to get their locks touched up before the single men arrived! The top Curlisto products used to deliver these beautiful styles: Blow Me Clean Dry Shampoo, Finishing Hair Spray, and Glow & Shine.
In the midst of all the craziness with back to back styling and the long line of ladies waiting for their touch up, we met a very wonderful woman named Phyllis. Phyllis had this radiant, positive energy to her that 5 minutes into chatting, it felt like we’ve known each other our entire lives! Not to mention, we couldn’t help but notice the gorgeous crystalized bracelets she was rocking.
It turns out that Phyllis is a gifted Reiki Healer who puts compassion and love into the designs of her jewelry that consist of absolutely stunning Swarovski crystals and stones and are infused with Reiki. Christo is a huge fan of stone and crystal bracelets so it was fate bumping into her at the event! Phyllis even surprised Christo and myself by popping up at the salon a couple days later and gifted us with personalized healing bracelets. WE ARE IN LOVE! Thank you Phyllis!
