We all love to the 1-2 step lazy girl hair tutorials. The simplicity of the sloppy bun, the easy, breezy braids that take up most of our tumblr feeds, but sometimes when you go out on a friday night you want to put a little extra effort into your do. And with extra effort often comes extraordinary results. So here are a few of our more complex coifs to give your weekend look… well… a little something extra.
1. Wrap Around Braids:
– Clip hair into four separate sections before styling
-Braid each section of hair before pinning it back to the side of the head
-Weave the ends together and secure with one final pin before applying Structura Spray for an all day hold
2. The Fro-Hawk:
-Section hair vertically from hairline to nape
-Secure sections with bobby pins
-Tease strands out of their sections to create a mohawk like shape
-Fluff out hair for a fro like feel, try Curlisto Curl Reform for some added volume
3.The Braided Headband:
-Separate the front pieces of the hair from the back
-Wind pieces into a tight on one side of the head
-Pull the braid over to the other side of the head
-Secure the braid by pulling a separate section of hair back away from the face
-Fluff out the rest of your hair for added effect. Finish with Glow & Shine Spray to give the braid a sleek, accessory appeal
4. Side Swept Curls:
-Using Curlisto Bio-Gel mousse to create flexibility and hold, sweep curls to one side of the head
-Secure using whichever brilliant pins you can find
-Finish with Curlisto Finishing Spray
5. Braided Bun
-Braid hair from one side of the hair to the other, loosely picking up pieces as you go along
-Loosely secure with hair tie
-Twist into a messy bun
Well, looks like even the ‘complicated” hairstyles are a but easier than they appear!
