No matter how often somebody with straight hair may complain about their hair lacking body, or the time and energy it takes to keep a curly hair style in place, the truth is, straight hair is just easier than curly hair. But that doesn’t mean that curls are not captivating and beautiful in their own way, there is just a but more baggage that comes along with having them- and we don’t just mean the extra weight of all the hair products we have to lug around with us. So on that note, here are a few things that every girl with curly hair wants you to know.
1. Our Hair Has A Personality of its own: Each strand of curly hair is different than the next which is what gives curly hair its unique body and shape. However, this is also why it needs more specific attention than straight hair. While straight hair can simply be razored with no extra thought required, curly hair requires its own technique. 2. Curly Haired Girls Can Rock Just As Many Styles as a Straight Haired Girl: There is no reason why a girl with curls can’t look fantastic with a bob, bangs or a bouffant! The trick is to know how to style it. For example, long side swept bangs look best on curly hair. And if you are going for a short haircut, choose one that frames your face and flatters your bone structure. A layered bob looks great with curls!
3. We Are Physically Incapable of “Waking Up Like This”: Curly hair needs product and routine. Once you figure out the right combination for you, you need to stick to it. Curls can be gorgeous but they do need attention and care.
